From the Founder

Healing Bridge Medical Services was founded by Nancy Edgar, MSN, FNP-BC, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and United States Marine Corps Veteran. After years of working across diverse healthcare settings, Nancy saw firsthand how rushed visits, insurance barriers, and fragmented care leave patients unheard and underserved.

Healing Bridge was created to be different — a practice built on time, clarity, and thoughtful clinical decision-making. Each visit is intentionally designed to allow space for listening, education, and shared decision-making, especially for patients with complex medical concerns.

This practice reflects a commitment to integrity, accountability, and patient advocacy — values shaped by both clinical experience and military service.

Why Cash-Pay Care

Healing Bridge Medical Services operates as a cash-pay practice to prioritize patients — not insurance requirements.

By removing insurance billing from the equation, we are able to offer:

While we do not bill insurance, we are happy to provide superbills upon request. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on individual insurance plans.

Although visits are cash-pay, patients may choose to use their insurance independently for prescriptions, laboratory testing, imaging, and referrals when applicable. Coverage and out-of-pocket costs for these services depend on the patient’s individual insurance plan and selected pharmacy, laboratory, or imaging center.
